June 30, 2022 - June was an award-winning month for Antinozzi Associates Architecture and Interiors. The month's accolades began with the Construction Institute (CI) Annual Awards event. CI recognizes the industry’s most outstanding leaders each year on this special evening. Individuals who are honored are committed to CI’s mission of promoting cross-industry collaboration.
On June 9, 2022:
F. Michael Ayles, FAIA, and Principal of Antinozzi Associates, was recognized with CI’s Distinguished Service Award for significant contributions during his many years as a volunteer with CI and serving on the advisory board and as one of the creators of the institute’s Architectural Engineering and Construction (AEC) Leadership Conference. Mr. Ayles has served on many committees and boards, for organizations such as the ACE Mentor Program, NCARB, SMPS, CBC, and CI. And he was also recognized, along with 2022 Planning Committee members, for effective teamwork and their innovative contributions to the AEC Leadership Conference. 2022 AEC Planning Committee members include: Kate Anderson of The Lee Company, Tiffany Cartier of Fuss & O’Neill, Jim Cecil of Nexii, Kaitlyn Dobberfuhl of Gilbane Building Company, Jeryn Koritzinsky of BRG, and Tony Messina of Whiting Turner Construction.

The Firm is proud to be a part of the BPL initiatives to bring new and updated library facilities to the Bridgeport community.

Trumbull has made the reoccupation and redevelopment of vacant and underperforming property a priority. Thoughtful planning, focus, and partnerships have led to the reoccupation and redevelopment of over 800,000 SF of vacant space over the past five years.
One area in particular, Trumbull’s southern industrial/commercial zone which encompasses a part of Reservoir Avenue as well as Lindeman Drive, Oakview Drive, and Cambridge Drive was over 60% vacant in 2017. The area had 315,000 SF of unoccupied space that was losing value for almost a decade. Through thoughtful planning and regulation changes that allowed for mixed-use development, the area is now sought after.

The Town of Stratford is proud to begin its 2022 economic development overview with a quick nod to community and economic development successes in 2021. Stratford High School’s Additions and Renovations Project, designed by local firm Antinozzi Associates Architecture & Interiors, and built by Turner Construction with an exceptional team of local contractors, was awarded the FIRST-place award for the 2022 Connecticut Building Congress (CBC) Project Team Award in the Large K-12 Schools Category.
“The Town of Stratford and Stratford Public Schools are pleased that the Stratford High School design and project are being honored as emulating the 21st Century learning environment,” says Mayor Laura R. Hoydick. “The collaborative model of community, town, and school worked well in developing an outstanding school building and we are thankful for our partnership with Antinozzi Associates and Turner Construction.
