BRBC COUNCILS AND COMMITTEES
The BRBC Board of Directors approves the membership of the Standing Committees of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council. The Standing Committees of the Business Council are:
BRBC Working Committees that have been established to accomplish the organization's strategic goals.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE is charged with reviewing current and prospective economic development projects in the region and business recruitment and retention.
GOVERNMENT RELATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE meets several times during the year and plans the government relations calendar of events, reviews and approves the annual “Legislative Agenda” which is distributed to every state legislator and member company and serves as the basis of BRBC legislative advocacy on behalf of business.
