Residents at Northbridge Health Care Center, Bridgeport, received a surprise visit from “Storm”, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers hockey team’s mascot, on Tuesday afternoon, December 20, 2011.
Storm, accompanied by the Sound Tigers’ Communications Manager, Jamie Palatini, visited with the residents, posed for photos, and gave them each a small stuffed animal.
“Earlier this month, our fans donated nearly 1,000 stuffed animals as part of our annual Teddy Bear Toss,” Palatini said. “We were thrilled to make a trip to Northbridge Health Care Center to deliver some stuffed animals and put smiles on the residents’ faces during the holiday season.”
Northbridge Health Care Center, located in the Greater Bridgeport area, offers a wide variety of services designed as a bridge to improved health and rehabilitation.
